IMPROBABLE
About Author: Adam Fawer (born 1970 in New York City) is an American Novelist. Improbable, his first novel, has been translated into more than five languages and won the 2006 International Thriller Writers Award for best first novel. His second novel, Empathy, has been published in 2008 in German, Japanese and Turkish.
Genre: Science fiction.
Story: The protagonist of the novel, David Caine, is an epileptic patient and his ability to calculate probabilities is very advanced. He wants to use this ability in gambling, and, like all gamblers, loses after a while and goes into serious debt. It is also used as a subject for research. On the one hand, the men who want his money, on the other hand, a group of people who know that David has become Laplace's devil, is after him.
My Opinion: I didn't like it but i think you can love the book if you like science fiction.
